Day Camp: Camp Nakota
CAMP NAKOTA IS THE WEEKLY OPTION FOR SCHOOL AGE KIDS ENTERING 1ST-7TH GRADE. WEEKLY ENROLLMENT IS AVAILABLE JUNE 3-AUGUST 9, 2024.

WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT A Y SUMMER?
When school's out, it's time to relax, decompress, and have fun with friends. Achievement, Relationships and Belonging is what Camp Nakota weekly day camp is all about! The opening ceremony kicks off the day at the YMCA. Next campers board the bus and head out to area parks or engaging field trips. Campers enjoy time in the Splash Center each day and mark the day's end with a closing ceremony at the Y. Camp Nakota will provide youth with camp experiences and activities to promote skill development and a safe place to build healthy relationships. Come join us for the best summer ever!

Within 24 hours of completing the online registration process, you will receive an email with links to download and complete the required paperwork. 2024 CAMP NAKOTA WEEKLY THEMES
June 3-7: Summerpalooza - Let's get this summer started right with a really fun & festive tropical themed week!
June 10-14: Race to the Red Planet - Launch your imaginations into orbin as we explore the outer limits of our creativity with a space themed week!
June 17-21: Crazy with Curiosity - Explore, experiement & experience the excitement of a special science themed week!
June 24-28: Watermania - Make a summer splash with a wet & wild water themed week!
July 1-5 (closed July 4): Under the Stars and Stripes- Red, white & blue abound in this special celebratory Independence themed week!
July 8-12: Radical Renaissance - Follow your imagination back in time to fantastical kingdoms & mythical creatures with a Renaissance themed week!
July 15-19: Christmas in July - Santa loves the summer sun & so will you when we deck the halls during our Christmas themed week!
July 22-26: Splashtacular-Come on in the water's fine during another awesome water themed week!
July 29-August 2: 701 for Fun - This summer stay-cation is packed with local lore when we enjoy a North Dakota themed week!
August 5-9: Call of the Wild- Put on your pith helmets & bring your binoculars while we swing on our mind-vines through a jungle themed week!
DAILY SCHEDULE (subject to change - please refer to weekly newsletters for updated information)
7:30-8:00am AM EXTENDED CARE – Must be pre-registered. Please make sure your child has a nutritious breakfast before arriving for the day
8:00-8:30am OPENING CEREMONY: camp assembly, energize activity, announcements
8:30-9:15am TRAVEL TIME
9:15-9:45am HUDDLE: small groups meet with counselor, discuss theme and core value for the day
9:45-11:30am ENERGIZE: Campers are engaged in outdoor activities including gaga ball, hiking or themed activity
11:30-12:30pm LUNCH and PLUG IN: Campers have lunch and participate in songs, large group games (sack lunch and a healthy snack will need to be brought from home).
12:30-1:30pm POWER UP: Campers pick activity of their choice, field trips
1:30-1:45pm HUDDLE: Small groups meet with counselor, discuss theme and core value for the day
1:45-2:15pm TRAVEL TIME
2:15-3:15/3:30pm ENERGIZE: Campers are engaged in outdoor activities including gaga ball, hiking or themed activity
3:30-4:00pm CLOSING CEREMONY: Camp assembly, reflection activity, announcements for next day
4:00-5:30pm PM EXTENDED CARE: must be pre-registered
2024 WEEKLY RATES
Members: $150
Non-Members: $160
Extended Care: $25
Non-refundable registration fee and deposit due at the time of registration.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 1 week prior to camp to receive an in-house credit or refund for any payments made above and beyond the deposit and registration fee. After that date, no credit/refund will be issued. Cancellations must be made through the School Age Program Director using the cancellation form (click here).
