Trainings & Certifications

Classes include American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid & Lifeguarding. All certifications are valid for 2 years. Males must wear a boxer-style swimming suit & females must wear a one-piece suit. The following pre-requisites must be met:

  • Swim 150 yards continuously demonstrating breath control & rhythmic breathing, then tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs, then swim 50 yards
  • Complete a timed retrieval of a 10lb brick within 1 minute 40 seconds
     
  • All fees must be paid the day prior to the class start date
  • You must be 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of your course
  • Pretest must be completed prior to class
  • This is a blended learning course
  • Some work will be done online prior to in person meeting times online
  • Participants will receive a link at least 1 week before class to be completed before the first day of the session
