Missouri Valley Family YMCA Endowment Fund
The Heritage Club recognizes individuals and families who have made a direct (outright) gift or planned gift to the YMCA’s Endowment Fund to ensure that YMCA programs will always be accessible to the people who need them most.
Membership in the Heritage Club simply requires a commitment of a gift now or in the future that will benefit the Endowment Fund in order to ensure a strong YMCA for future generations. Gifts will be allocated to the Endowment Fund, with annual distributions determined by the Board of Directors of the Missouri Valley Family YMCA.
A VARIETY OF GIVING OPTIONS

Appreciated Asset
Contribute stock, real estate or personal property and receive a charitable deduction equal to the current value of the asset without capital gains tax.

Bequest/Will
Include the Y in a will and reduce estate taxes. Fixed amounts and specific assets or percentages of the estate may be specified.

Charitable Trust
Establish a charitable trust or annuities that provide the donor with a fixed or variable lifetime income and receive a charitable deduction at the same time.

Life Insurance
Purchase a life insurance policy naming the Y as the beneficiary and take out a charitable deduction equal to the premium.

Outright Gift
Make an immediate donation and take a charitable deduction as provided by law.

Real Estate
Donate a home or real estate property and enjoy the benefits of ownership for life while receiving an immediate charitable donation.

Retirement Plan
Name the Y as full or partial beneficiary on your IRA or qualified retirement plan to avoid penalty of both income and estate taxes.

Our YMCA has served the Bismarck Mandan area since 1967. It is one of the oldest and most recognized youth and family service organizations in the region. The Endowment Fund draws only on interest, never principle. In this way we give everyone the security of knowing there will always be a Missouri Valley Family YMCA.
