WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT A Y SUMMER?

When school's out, it's time to relax, decompress, and have fun with friends. Achievement, Relationships and Belonging is what Camp Nakota is all about! The fun weekly themes will provide youth with camp experiences, activities to promote skill development and a safe place to build healthy relationships. Come join us for the best summer ever!

 

ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

On the Y registration page, select School Age Programs.

Within 24 hours of completing the online registration process, you will receive an email with links to download and complete the required paperwork.  If you do not receive the email within 24 hours, please contact the YDC & School Age Program Coordinator at alyssa.pfliger@bismarckymca.org or by calling 701-751-9773.

 

2021 CAMP NAKOTA WEEKLY THEMES

June 1-4: Camp Kickoff! - Kick off your summer with a week filled with amazing activities including junkyard wars, camp crafts and human foosball!

June 7-11: Hollywood - We will be rolling out the red carpet for our campers this week! Our campers will see what if feels like to be famous with their own personal papparazzi!

June 14-18: Super Hero Week - Campers will use their imaginations this week to create their very own superhero! 

June 21-25: H2O Yeah! - Don’t let the heat stop you! This will be one wild, wet and water filled week! Be sure to pack a swimsuit, goggles and sunscreen! We will also visit a water park!

June 28–July 2: Olympics- Campers will create and compete in their own Olympic style games!

July 5-9: Survivor Week - Will your "tribe" win the most points competing in survival and puzzle challenges? Campers will learn survival skills and how to work together to succeed.

July 12-16: Around the World- Discover games and activities from across the world! We will be enjoying cultural experiences all week!

July 19-23: Disney - Campers will work together to create their very own theme park. What games, attractions and rides can you imagine?!

July 26-30: Weird Science - Every camper is an inventor! We will put STEAM activities at your fingertips so your creative juices flow!

August 2-6: Escape Room - Campers will work in teams to create escape rooms! Can the other team crack your codes and escape your riddles and puzzles?!

August 9-13: DIY Challenge Week -  This week you'll be challenged to create something amazing with everyday items working both independently and in teams!

 

DAILY SCHEDULE (subject to change - please refer to weekly newsletters for updated information)

7:30-8:00am AM EXTENDED CARE – Must be pre-registered.  Please make sure your child has a nutritious breakfast before arriving for the day

8:00-8:30am OPENING CEREMONY: camp assembly, energize activity, announcements

8:30-9:15am TRAVEL TIME

9:15-9:45am HUDDLE: small groups meet with counselor, discuss theme and core value for the day

9:45-11:30am ENERGIZE: Campers are engaged in outdoor activities including gaga ball, hiking or themed activity

11:30-12:30pm LUNCH and PLUG IN: Campers have lunch and participate in songs, large group games (sack lunch and a healthy snack will need to be brought from home). 

12:30-1:30pm POWER UP: Campers pick activity of their choice, field trips

1:30-1:45pm HUDDLE: Small groups meet with counselor, discuss theme and core value for the day

1:45-2:15pm TRAVEL TIME

2:15-3:15/3:30pm ENERGIZE: Campers are engaged in outdoor activities including gaga ball, hiking or themed activity

3:30-4:00pm CLOSING CEREMONY: Camp assembly, reflection activity, announcements for next day

4:00-5:30pm PM EXTENDED CARE: must be pre-registered

 

2021 WEEKLY RATES

Members: $130

Non-Members: $140

Extended Care: $20

$25 per week non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration

Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 1 week prior to camp to receive an in-house credit or refund for any payments made above and beyond the deposit.  After that date, no credit/refund will be issued.  Cancellations must be made through the School Age Program Director.
