Puklich Chevrolet, Midco, and the Missouri Valley Family YMCA have teamed up to bring Bismarck-Mandan the Color Splash Fun DashTM.  100% of race proceeds will go directly to the Y's Annual Support Campaign.

"Funds raised from the Annual Support Campaign directly impact the children in our community.  Kids that normally would not have the opportunity to do swimming lessons or summer day camp are able to gain those experiences because of the Annual Support Campaign". - Elyse Puklich, President - Puklich Chevrolet

"We are very excited to be a part of the planning and fundraising for the Color Splash Fun Dash.  It's such a fun idea, supports a great cause, and is such a big hit with the Bismarck-Mandan community". - Jan Hugh, Retail Manager - Midco

"The Y is so excited to be a part of the Color Splash Fun Dash, to bring a concept so popular in metropolitan areas to our community.  We are so grateful that Puklich Chevrolet and Midco support the work we do through the Annual Support Campaign". - Bill Bauman, CEO/Executive Director - Missouri Valley Family YMCA

The Missouri Valley Family YMCA is committed to serving the Bismarck-Mandan Community through programs and resources that nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living, and foster a sense of social responsibility. The Y works hard each day to turn no one away because of the inability to pay. As a nonprofit, the Y relies on the funds raised through the Annual Support Campaign to be able to continue to offer the programs and resources that matter to our community.

In 2016, your Y awarded over $400,000 in direct financial support to individuals and families in the Bismarck-Mandan community. Each year our Y still awards more in financial assistance than it receives through charitable support.  Even with funds through the united Way, the Y still faces a gap in our charitable support.

In 2016, 1100 second graders gained life-changing confidence as they learned basic swim mechanics and water safety skills in SPLASH.

Child Care
Last year, we helped 24 families afford child care with a scholarship to the Youth Development Center.

Day Camp
51 kids received a scholarship to experience the Y through Summer Day Camp in 2016. It was the opportunity to discover the bold outdoors in a fun and safe environment.

Youth Development Pass
Since 1981, our Y has offered a free Youth Development Pass to all kids grades K-6. In 2016, this pass gave 592 kids a safe, healthy, and constructive place to belong and at no cost to families.

Last year, 580 families/individuals received financial assistance for a YMCA membership giving families the opportunity to reconnect and growth together.

Primetime Wellness at the Y
Last year, 88 individuals received assistance to participate in this comprehensive well-being program for aging adults age 65+ (baby boomers) involving body, mind, and spirit.

39 individuals participated in a twelve-week, small group program designed for adult cancer survivors that fulfills the important need of supporting and helping them feel physically and emotionally strong enough to attempt to return to their normal life or their "new normal".

Parkinson’s Wellness at the Y

41 individuals participated in a community wellness program that addresses the daily life needs of these individuals and provides year around access to group fitness classes specifically designed for them.
