The YMCA Youth Development Center is a high-quality, values-oriented, state-licensed child care program. We provide care to children from infancy to school-age children.

We have a safe atmosphere and caring staff comprised of four-year degree teachers, CDA certified teachers and experienced care givers. Children can experience their world through developmentally appropriate activities including Physical Education and Fine Arts.

In addition to classroom space, children access two pools, two gyms, the
running track, the YMCA Kid’s Gym (must be age eight and older), and outdoor playgrounds.

School Age After School Program
The Youth Development Center offers school age programming for students K-6th grade before and after school, following the Bismarck Public Schools calendar. Students are involved in a variety of activities to enhance academic, physical and social development including service learning projects to promote community involvement. Childcare assistance is accepted and limited scholarships are available.
